bailey jane is growing by the second, which means her interests and needs are changing too! here are some of her favorites at 8 months!
this book is so great. i don’t know if bailey or mom and dad like it more! it’s fun to read and i’ve been giving it as baby shower gifts since we got it! (thanks kristin!)
i got bailey a play saucer at a second hand store and she can sit in it and play for how long! it can bounce up and down too (which she doesn’t do too much)
nick redid an old wooden highchair for me before bailey was born. now that she’s able to sit in one i realize the wood one is too big for her at the moment. it doesn’t have straps and she would be able to slide right out. we made a trip to ikea a few weeks back and picked up this one for the moment being! she can also sit in this for hours and occupy her self! with one foot on the tray of course!
these were a hand me down from my brother…work very well for little puffs!
these have been her favorite! she can now pick them up on her own and eat them. babies ‘chewing’ is the cutest thing ever. still no teeth for her, so she looks even funnier!
these spoons are great because they are not so big that they can’t fit in her mouth. they are also really soft so if she bites down on them it shouldn’t hurt her!
this spoon is wonderful! i make my own baby food which sometimes it isn’t completely smooth so chunks would get stuck in this. if you are using store bought baby food this is a life saver! cuts feeding time down tremendously!
our favorite bib! it almost looks like a hair stylist cape. but it’s wonderful because it covers her shoulders and when her head turning constantly because she’s so nosy, the mess won’t get on her!
making my own baby food is something i’ve always wanted to do. i steam the food, blend it in a food processor and freeze in these ice cube trays. works great!
this was a hand me down from my brother as well. this is the first sippy cup bailey has taken! a good transition from a bottle for her.
now that we are in our new house, bailey jane has been taking baths in our bathtub! this little whale protects her from the water spout. if you are getting one make sure you get one that allows the shower lever to get pulled up!
fun little bath toys are a must! she loves chewing on these fish. and the boat is great for rinsing off the soap in her hair!
still a favorite for us. the smell is just the best.
another hand me down from my brother. we love our stroller that came with our car seat but sometimes its nice to have a small little stroller (like when we go shopping!!)
bailey’s crib has been great. she’s been sleeping in it since she’s been three months old. she takes all her naps in there and really think she enjoys being in it!
we have had great luck with this monitor! we love watching her sleep or roll around in her crib!
these hangers are so great. they keep all her little cloths hung neatly and don’t ever fall off.
every morning we wash her face and hands with these wipes. they not only smell great, they get all the morning crustys off. also great to have in her diaper bag to wipe her face after meals on the go.
bailey has been sick a few times now. boogie wipes are wonderful for those crusted on boogers. have to be careful though because they will dry her face and nose out.
we apply this cream to her cheeks and nose every night before bed to keep her skin from getting dry, especially if she has a cold!
we started using this humidifier (that we won) in her room in the new house. it’s a great little noise machine along with keeping the air in her room moist. when she has a cold i drop some peppermint essential oils in it and it helps her breath all night long!
